According to reports on May 11, U.S. media have disclosed an updated list of corporate executives set to accompany former President Donald Trump on his upcoming visit to China. The list includes Apple's Executive Chairman Tim Cook, Tesla Motors founder Elon Musk, and Boeing CEO Kelly Ortberg.

Notably, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang, who was named in a previous Reuters report, is not on this latest list. Conversely, Elon Musk, who had rarely been discussed in this context, has now been included.

In a post on his Truth Social platform on May 11, Trump expressed his anticipation for the upcoming trip to China, describing it as "an amazing country."

A Reuters report from May 7 indicated that the U.S. administration was inviting CEOs from major corporations such as NVIDIA, Apple, Exxon Mobil, and Boeing to join Trump's delegation to China.

In an interview on the evening of May 7, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang stated, "If invited, it would be an honor—to represent the United States and visit China with President Trump would be a tremendous privilege." When asked about specific arrangements, he added, "We should let the president announce whatever he decides to announce."

The report also mentioned that executives from companies including Qualcomm, Blackstone, Citigroup, and Visa were among those invited.

A source familiar with the matter confirmed that Citigroup CEO Jane Fraser has received an invitation. If the itinerary proceeds as planned, Qualcomm CEO Cristiano Amon is also expected to attend.

Another source revealed that several corporate CEOs received their invitations on the evening of May 6. Bloomberg noted that Huang's comments suggested "the leader of America's most valuable company has not yet received an invitation to visit China."

In an interview in April, Boeing CEO Kelly Ortberg stated that the company is hoping the Trump administration will help facilitate a long-anticipated major order from China.
