iPhone 18 Pro Series Plagued by Automatic Restart Bug, Support Says System Issue Will Be Fixed via Update

Deep News09-28

Consumers have recently reported that the iPhone 18 Pro series appears to have a system bug in which the phone may freeze and automatically restart when facial recognition fails.

In response, Apple (AAPL) support said the company's engineering team has indeed identified some Face ID issues caused by the system. The engineering team has already begun working on a fix and has recently been rolling out a new system version to users.

Records show that the iPhone 18 Pro series was launched by Apple (AAPL) on September 10 and includes the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, with a starting price of 9,999 yuan for the mainland China version. It officially went on sale on September 18.
