SpaceX has developed a prototype for an artificial intelligence device that resembles a smartphone in appearance and will utilize a Qualcomm Snapdragon chip. This news prompted a swift reversal in Qualcomm (NASDAQ: QCOM) shares, turning losses into gains with an intraday surge of up to 3.4%.
According to sources familiar with the matter, the device features a slim design, reportedly thinner than an iPhone. It operates on SpaceX's proprietary operating system and incorporates artificial intelligence technology from xAI, a company also under Elon Musk's control.
