Taobao Flash Sale's policy of waiving penalties for late deliveries has now been fully implemented across all direct-operated cities in China.
Following its recent rollout in cities including Shanghai, Chongqing, Shenzhen, Fuzhou, Nanchang, Guiyang, Harbin, Taiyuan, Lanzhou, and Qingdao, the initiative now covers all direct-operated cities nationwide for crowd-sourced delivery riders. Earlier this month, Taobao Flash Sale expanded its no-penalty policy for late deliveries to 60 cities, introducing a new "Service Score" mechanism. This system employs more scientific and positive incentives, along with technical support, to enhance rider performance—a move that has gained widespread recognition.
According to reports, the "Service Score" system adopts flexible constraints and rewards, ensuring riders' earnings are no longer impacted by delays. This approach promotes fair compensation based on effort and performance, leading to improved rider safety, fulfillment efficiency, and user experience.
