Stock News04-27

WeRide-W (00800) rose more than 6% during the morning trading session. As of the time of writing, the stock was up 5.84%, trading at HK$21.4 with a turnover of HK$12.09 million.

On the news front, on April 24, WeRide announced via its official WeChat account that its one-stage, end-to-end assisted driving solution, WRD 3.0, has achieved compatibility with multiple chip platforms. The solution now supports various mainstream automotive computing platforms, including NVIDIA DRIVE®, Qualcomm Snapdragon®, and Xinqing Technology's "Starlight One" (AD1000), covering different computational power levels and cost ranges. This provides global OEMs with a family of L2++ high-level assisted driving solutions spanning from high performance to high cost-effectiveness.

Currently, WRD 3.0 has secured designations for nearly 30 vehicle models from OEMs such as GAC and Chery. On April 16, the first mass-produced passenger vehicle co-developed by WeRide and GAC Aion, the Aion N60, officially began pre-sales. This also marks WeRide's first mass-production implementation of its one-stage, end-to-end technology on the Qualcomm Snapdragon® platform. It achieves full-scenario, full-function high-level assisted driving, including urban, highway, parking, and active/passive safety features, delivering performance equivalent to a 2000 TOPS computational power using only 200 TOPS.
