Tesla has announced that older vehicles equipped with Hardware 3 will not support the unsupervised version of Full Self-Driving without an upgrade. The company plans to establish "micro-factories" to handle trade-ins and hardware retrofits for upgrades to Hardware 4. Owners of HW3 vehicles may need to replace their computer and cameras.
