Meta Platforms, Inc. announced on Wednesday that it has entered into a partnership with Reliance Industries, the conglomerate led by Indian billionaire Mukesh Ambani, to jointly construct an artificial intelligence data center in India.
According to the statement, Reliance Industries will build the data center with a capacity of 168 megawatts in Jamnagar, Gujarat. Meta Platforms, Inc. will lease space within the facility and retain the option to expand its capacity in the future.
