BYD COMPANY (01211.HK) saw its stock rise nearly 5% during intraday trading, with shares climbing 4.34% as of press time to 93.70 Hong Kong dollars, and a turnover of 1.327 billion Hong Kong dollars.
On July 28, BYD officially confirmed that its humanoid robot product will be formally unveiled in August. Earlier, BYD had released a promotional poster for the humanoid robot at its "Di Space | Zhengzhou Pavilion," which stated, "In early August, a new friend wants to get to know you." Public information indicates that "Di Space" is an offline immersive experience terminal created by BYD, distinct from the single sales function of traditional 4S stores. This space focuses on brand display, product experience, user interaction, and technology showcases, serving as the launch venue for BYD's new technologies and new products.
Additionally, Citigroup recently released a research report stating that the "BYD Weighted Fundamental Index" for July stood at positive 0.07, reflecting a still-positive fundamental outlook. The bank anticipates that the company's export momentum will continue into the third quarter, and combined with solid second-quarter performance, it will help alleviate market concerns about earnings visibility in the second half of the year. This should support BYD's gradual earnings revaluation through market consolidation and a focus on the export theme. Citigroup maintains a "Buy" rating on BYD with a target price of 142 Hong Kong dollars.
