1039 GMT - JD Sports may face questions from investors on the sportswear fashion retailer's capability to outperform without any material recovery in Nike sales in early 2025, UBS analysts say. They point to the company's softer like-for-like sales in its key markets of U.K. and North America. The analysts remain positive on JD Sports in the long term. However, they warn that the stock will continue to face pressure in the short term, at least until the group releases its full-year results and provides investors with greater clarity on the company's outlook for 2025. UBS set its 12-month share price target for JD Sports at 155 pence. Shares are down 9.45% at 0.87 pounds. (cristina.gallardo@wsj.com)
