Shares of Tempus AI were trading sharply higher after the medical artificial-intelligence company announced the launch of an AI-enabled personal health app, olivia.

Tempus AI stock gained 30% to $45.73 on Tuesday and was on track for its largest daily percentage increase since Nov. 8, when it rose 29.9%, according to Dow Jones Market Data.

The product -- which is now available on iOs and Android -- was designed to address two key objectives: centralizing patients' health data and making that data accessible through AI, the company said in a press release.

"The app enables patients to bring their health information into one unified platform," Tempus AI said. "Patients can connect directly to over 1,000 health systems through electronic health record (EHR) integration, sync data from health devices to track daily metrics, or manually upload health records."

Olivia organizes the data into a timeline which can then be shared with a patient's care team, and the app's AI capabilities allow patients to ask questions about their records and receive summaries of their data.
