China's Commerce Ministry on Tuesday said it will take countermeasures against the US's threat of an additional 50% tariff on Chinese goods.
The tariffs ordered by US President Donald Trump are "groundless," adding the measures are a "typical unilateral bullying practice," the ministry said.
The 50% tariff threat will go on top of the 54% already imposed so far against the world's number two economy. The additional tariffs are seen to take effect Wednesday.
