8月22日，蔚来汽车创始人李斌在全新ES8见面会上，谈到新车定价时表示，定价时综合各方面因素，这个价位也是有毛利的。
他还谈到，特别让他感动的是，很多老用户说不要太过于在乎我们老用户的感受，说蔚来活下去是最重要的。
李斌也直言，虽然很纠结，也清楚定价会让一些老用户损伤，但还是要做出对整个公司有利的决定。也很纠结，但还是实事求是。“所以也是特别感谢了这么多用户，这么多年对我的支持。”他说。
昨天半夜还是信息，我就开始依赖他的用户，然后两个月前刚刚买的这个第280，我现在看到的380决定在哪边？对我觉得就是我觉得未来都应该入驻企业。
李斌表示，把公司做好，是对80万用户的责任，在这过程中可能确实没法做到让每一个用户满意，也没法照顾到每个用户的利益，只能说做一个对总体来说最合理的一个决定。
昨日晚间，全新第三代蔚来ES8正式开启预售，共推出3款车型，6座行政豪华版，6座行政签名版和7座行政豪华版。
其中，6座行政豪华版和7座行政豪华版，整车预售价均为41.68万元，电池租用方式购车为30.88万元起；6座行政签名版整车预售价为45.68万元，电池租用方式购车为34.88万元，新车将于2025年9月下旬正式上市并开启交付。
