Teledyne Technologies (TDY) and Aitech said Wednesday that they will continue their partnership to integrate Teledyne e2v semiconductors into Aitech's SP1 radiation-tolerant 3U SpaceVPX single-board computer.

The companies said SP1, designed for low Earth orbit, geostationary, lunar, and deep space missions, would use Teledyne e2v's QLS1046-Space system-on-chip for onboard processing.

The system supports AI-based analysis and autonomous functions, the company said, adding the platform intended for applications such as earth observation, communications, command and data handling, robotics vision, power distribution, and signal analysis.
