Himalaya Food International Ltd (BOM:526899) has successfully shipped three containers of its frozen French toast sticks to the United Kingdom, according to a BSE filing to the Indian stock exchanges.
The company launched the product in Australia earlier this year with the same customer. With entry into the UK, Himalaya is expanding its presence in the European market, with plans to scale it up further.
It has been exporting French toast sticks to the US for several years, and is now also aiming to expand into Japan.
The company's shares were up nearly 3% in recent trade.
