Singapore's bunker or marine fuel sales fell 6.8% year over year in May to 4.5 million tonnes, according to data released by the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore on Monday.
Similarly, cargo throughout fell 4.8% year over year to 50.3 million tonnes, while container throughput was up 3% year over year to 3.9 million twenty-foot equivalent units.
The number of vessel arrivals during the month rose 3.4% on year to 11,729, data showed.
