0418 GMT - Component shortages will continue to constrain server supply in the July-to-September quarter, according to research firm Digitimes. However, global server shipments are still expected to surpass 5 million units for the first time, growing 2.8% sequentially, it says. Procurement by major U.S. cloud service providers is forecast to rise just 1.7% quarter-on-quarter, while Dell, Super Micro and HPE are set for a combined 5.8% rebound, the research firm says. Amazon will retain the top buyer position with a 21.3% share, followed by Meta at 18.2%, it adds.
