Bintai Kinden Arm Bags Land Development Contract Worth MYR296.5 Million; Shares Jump 7%

Kejuruteraan Bintai Kindenko, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bintai Kinden (KLSE:BINTAI) has secured a contract worth 296.5 million ringgit for residential and commercial land development, according to a Wednesday filing to the Malaysian stock exchange.

The company's shares were up nearly 7% in Thursday's trade.

The contract was awarded through an open tender invitation issued by PLUS Malaysia for the development of two land parcels of around 103 acres in Ayer Keroh, Melaka, Malaysia.

The project is expected to contribute positively to the Bintai Group's earnings from the financial year ending March 31, 2029 onwards.
