Sarawak Consolidated Industries (KLSE:SCIB) unit SCIB Industrialised Building secured a subcontract worth 21 million for upgrading works at the student hostel block of Institut Pendidikan Guru Kampus Keningau in Sabah, Malaysia, according to a Wednesday Malaysian bourse filing.
Shars jumped about 22% in Thursday's late morning trade.
The project was awarded by Belian Juta and is scheduled to commence on Aug. 21, 2026, and be completed by Jan. 22, 2029.
The company will finance the deal through internally generated funds or project progress billings.
