Advanced Micro-Fabrication Equipment China (SHA:688012), or AMEC, posted first-half attributable net profit of 2.83 billion yuan, up 300% from 705.9 billion yuan the previous year.
Earnings per share rose to 4.33 yuan from 1.12 yuan, according to a Thursday filing with the Shanghai bourse.
Operating revenue went up 35% year over year to 6.69 billion yuan from 4.96 billion yuan.
Shares of the chip gear maker climbed 3% in recent trade.
