Shandong Nanshan Aluminium's (SHA:600219) net profit attributable to shareholders in the first half fell 14% to 2.25 billion yuan from 2.63 billion yuan a year earlier, according to a Thursday disclosure on the Shanghai bourse.
Earnings per share dropped year on year to 0.20 yuan from 0.23 yuan.
Operating revenue rose 7.5% to 18.6 billion yuan from 17.3 billion yuan in the previous year.
The Chinese aluminum company proposed a cash dividend of 2.65 yuan per ten shares.
The company's shares slumped 8% during the afternoon trade.
