Cerebras Systems' (CBRS) CS-4 launch is seen as the highlight of Supernova event, with the release reinforcing the thesis about the differentiation that company's architecture offers for fast inference, UBS said in a note emailed Wednesday.
The company unveiled its CS-4 inference system, delivering a 6x system-level performance gain over CS-3, further widening its performance advantage versus graphics processing units, the firm noted.
The new Nexus rack-scale architecture uses a modular design allowing customers to deploy powered racks first and add compute modules later, cutting deployment times from days to hours, the firm said.
UBS said it grew more bullish on Cerebras' disaggregated inference opportunity, as the company's cloud contracts are largely priced per million tokens, meaning throughput gains could directly boost margins.
UBS reiterated its buy rating on the stock with a $330 price target, adding that it continues to see the recent stock pullback as a compelling buying opportunity.
