Jiangsu Etern's Attributable Profit Jumps 58% in H1; Shares Rise 3%

Jiangsu Etern (SHA:600105) attributable profit rose 58% to 503.5 million yuan in the first half from 318.5 million yuan in the year-ago period, according to a Thursday filing with the Shanghai Stock Exchange.

Earnings per share at the cable manufacturer rose to 0.344 yuan from 0.218 yuan in the prior-year period.

Operating revenue grew 48% year-over-year to 3.34 billion yuan from 2.26 billion yuan.

Company shares rose 3% during the midday break on Thursday.
