Customers that hit their cap with Anthropic must negotiate a new agreement or face higher prices, the report said, citing managers from three software firms that buy AI from both companies.

Meanwhile, OpenAI gives customers who reach their spending commitment in discounted deals the rest of the calendar month, plus an additional month, to negotiate a new deal before prices rise, the report said, citing a person close to OpenAI.
