OCBC Bank (Macau) signed a memorandum of understanding with the Macau-Singapore Economic, Trade and Culture Exchange Promotion Association to explore ways to support Singapore enterprises establishing or expanding their business presence in Macau.

The agreement, signed Oct. 21 at the Macao International Trade and Investment Fair, marks the association's first MOU with a banking institution, according to a Wednesday press release.

Under the MOU, both parties will explore enterprise referrals, business matching, information exchange and activities to promote commercial interaction between Macau and Singapore. Any banking products or services will remain subject to regulatory requirements and the bank's standard assessment and approval processes, it said.
