“On the 2nd & 3rd November 2024 A few comments were made and left on this platform about FUBOTV being a speculative stock pending the court case outcome including a settlement, well that's History, today, based on the settlement of over $200 million in cash and a joint venture between FuboTV & Walt Disney including the customer base that just increased , everyone is definitely wanting a piece of the pie Today.
Could this be the next 100 Bagger ? I would be very interested to hear your comments and how this joint venture could or may well be the next Netflix !!!!“
FuboTV Finds a Partner in Disney 🏆
FuboTV has had a rocky history, but a potential deal with Disney could change its trajectory. Here’s what’s happening:
Disney will combine its Hulu+ Live TV service with FuboTV, taking a 70% ownership stake in the newly merged company. Existing Fubo shareholders will hold the remaining 30%.
Fubo has stood out with its focus on sports and news content, maintaining a variety of regional sports networks. This merger could give it the leverage to expand even further.
The deal comes after a $200M settlement, where Fubo successfully argued against anti-competitive practices by the joint venture Venu (Disney, Warner Bros. Discovery, and Fox).
For Disney, this is a strategic move to consolidate its sports streaming assets – ESPN+, Venu, and now Fubo – into a stronger market presence.
