1. Which High Ex-dividend Stock (on 13 January ~ 17 January) do You Like the Most?

Be Sure To Check Out the Last Chance to Buy the Top 10 High dividend stocks going to Ex-dividends This Week: many companies like $Buckle(BKE)$ and $AbbVie(ABBV)$ showing below are about to give decent dividends into "your pocket".

Editor's notes:

A dividend-paying stock ex-dividend date, or ex-date, is very important to investors. In a nutshell, if you buy a dividend stock before the ex-dividend date, then you will receive the next upcoming dividend payment.

If you purchase the stock on or after the ex-dividend date, you will not receive the dividend. Some investors utilize strategies whereby they will purchase stocks just prior to an ex-dividend date and sell shortly thereafter.

2. YTD25 of the Above 10 Stocks are as Below:

According to data from TradingView, in 2025, companies such as $Accenture PLC(ACN)$ , $MSC Industrial Direct(MSM)$ , and $Quest Diagnostics(DGX)$ saw increases in their stock prices. ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸI like dividend stocks and even better if they are undervalued.  AbbVie $AbbVie(ABBV)$  is one such stock.  AbbVie is a global pharmaceutical giant and has a market capitalisation of USD 312.42 billion.  It is a Dividend Aristocrat, having paid increasing  dividends for  more than 25 years.  AbbVie is a spin off from $Abbott Laboratories(ABT)$  and has generated strong growth since its spin off.

AbbVie is a pharmaceutical products company that is focused on immunology, oncology and neurological health.

The most important product for AbbVie is Humira which is a immunology drug used for treatment of rheumatoid arthritis.   However its patent protection  for Humira was lost in January 2023.  Since then AbbVie has launched 2 new successful immunology medicines Skyrizi and Rinvoq which are performing very well.

AbbVie has recently announced an increase of 5.8% in its quarterly dividend for 2025.  The current dividend yield is 3.71%.  AbbVie will go ex dividend on January 15 2025 with a pay date of February 14 2025.

Wall Street Analysts are bullish on AbbVie with a Buy rating, Average  Target price of USD 205.59, a upside potential of 16%.

I like AbbVie for its  upside potential and great dividends which is an excellent source of passive income while waiting for capital growth.

Investing in $Quest Diagnostics(DGX)$ offers a reliable option for dividend-focused investors. As a leading provider of diagnostic testing services, Quest plays a vital role in healthcare by offering a broad range of lab tests. With steady demand for healthcare services, Quest is positioned for consistent revenue & long-term growth.

Quest has strong financial track record and is committed to returning value to shareholders through regular dividends. The company's solid performance supports its ability to maintain a competitive dividend yield, making it an appealing choice for income-seeking investors.

Additionally, its investments in digital healthcare and lab technology strengthen its market position. As demand for healthcare services rises, particularly in areas like personalized medicine & aging populations, Quest is well-positioned to capitalize on these trends, making it a promising dividend stock for long-term growth.

Among the high ex-dividend stocks from January 13th to 17th, I like $AbbVie(ABBV)$ the most. AbbVie is a pharmaceutical company that specializes in developing and manufacturing innovative medicines and healthcare products. Here are the reasons why I find it appealing:

Dividend Yield: AbbVie has a solid track record of paying dividends and offers an attractive dividend yield. This makes it an appealing option for income-seeking investors.

Earnings Forecast: According to the earnings forecast, AbbVie is expected to continue its growth in the coming years. The forecasted EPS for 2025 is $12.20, with a projected gross income of $59.25 billion and EBIT of $27.63 billion.

Analyst Recommendation: Analysts have a positive outlook on AbbVie, with a majority recommending buying the stock. This indicates confidence in the company's future performance.

Target Price: The mean target price estimate by analysts is $203.78, with a low estimate of $165.00 and a high estimate of $240.00. This suggests potential upside for the stock.

Capital Flow: Looking at the recent capital flow data, AbbVie has seen a positive overall inflow of $25.98 million. This indicates investor interest and confidence in the company.

Please note that the above analysis is based on available data and should not be considered as investment advice. It is important to conduct thorough research and consider your own financial goals and risk tolerance before making any investment decisions.

Regarding other companies going ex-dividend this week, I would recommend checking the latest economic calendar or consulting with a financial advisor or broker to get the most up-to-date information on ex-dividend dates for specific stocks.
