๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸWhile the rest of the world scrambles for overpriced flights to snowy chaos, my Christmas plan is simple: a staycation in beautiful Singapore.  Why fly when I am already in paradise?  This year the holiday spirit isn't found in a suitcase.  It is right here in my own backyard.

Christmas is a family affair as we head to church in the morning.

Then we head to my mother's house.  This is where the real work begins - eating the glorious spread she prepares!  It is a hilarious, loud and loving gathering of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Then this is followed by exchanging gifts and more laughter.

Beyond the gifts and gourmet food, Christmas for us is fundamentally about 2 things: Peace and Profound Gratitude.

It is a time to pause, count our blessings and cherish the simple incredible gift of being together in a safe country.  This Christmas is about the quiet joy of family and peace in our hearts.  ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿฅฐ๐ŸŽ…๐ŸŽ…
