$Tiger Brokers(TIGR)$ 2026 Investment Time Capsule:

1. The sector or stock I’m most optimistic about in 2026 is

high-quality, cash-generating businesses with durable competitive advantages (especially consumer staples, financials, and select technology leaders) because these companies benefit from strong moats, pricing power, and disciplined management. Following Warren Buffett’s philosophy, I believe owning wonderful businesses at sensible prices allows compounding to work steadily, regardless of short-term market noise.

2. My three trading rules are:

• Invest only in businesses I clearly understand because long-term conviction comes from knowledge, not speculation. As Buffett says, staying within my circle of competence reduces costly mistakes.

• Focus on long-term value, not short-term price movements because markets fluctuate, but business fundamentals compound over time. Patience is my edge.

• Protect capital first and let returns follow because avoiding permanent loss is more important than chasing quick gains—consistent discipline leads to sustainable wealth.

3. My investment return target for 2026 is

35%–40%, achieved through disciplined stock selection, long-term conviction, and emotional control—allowing time, quality, and compounding to do the heavy lifting.

Great summary of Buffets principles Mojo. I’m a huge fan of his approach. Interestingly I read the other day that over his 58 years of investing he only made 12 investment decisions that absolutely rocketed. He is on record saying one of the worst investments decisions he ever made was buying a textile company called Birkshire Hathaway. Kind of humbling really. Back then though he was still following the value investment approaches of his mentor Ben Graham and to a lesser extent David Dodd.
Obviously Buffet then went on to extend the principals of value to intangibles, and introduced the concept of moats. Truely an inspirational investor
