The problem is there is no robot supply chain. All the robot companies need to get together and formulate a standard format for all the robot parts - actuators, motors, arms, legs, chips, cameras, microphone, cases, etc. Similar to how PC has standard format for motherboard, cpu, ram, ssd, video card, case, power supply, etc. Then suppliers could build that one part, say the hand. and sell it to all robot companies. This way you can just buy robot parts off the shelf, and not have to build everything from scratch. One company build the leg. Another company build the arm. And so on.
