Is there a better full-service fintech growth story in the market right now than $SoFi Technologies Inc.(SOFI)$ ?

There are certainly plenty of reasons to debate the stock. Investors can argue about fair-value accounting, credit risk, potential dilution, or whether the Tech Platform has fully lived up to expectations.

But focusing exclusively on those issues may miss the bigger story unfolding inside the company.

Bull Case in one photo!

Products per member:

- 1.46

- 1.47

- 1.48

- 1.51

- 1.54

Notice how it's accelerated in the last few quarters.

This is as in Q2 2026, 51% of new products were opened by existing customers.

SoFi is transforming from a primarily lending-focused business into a full-scale financial ecosystem.

The strategy is straightforward: aggressively acquire high-value members, bring those members into more products, and increase the value of each customer over time.

The numbers are increasingly supporting that strategy.

Members grew 35% year over year, while products grew 42%. Revenue increased 43% YoY last quarter, and adjusted EBITDA climbed 44%.

Even more importantly, tangible book value increased 80% overall and 56% on a per-share basis.

That combination points to meaningful operating leverage as the platform continues to scale.

The Real Moat: The Ecosystem

The most compelling part of the SoFi story may not be its lending business. It is the ecosystem being built around the customer.

Once a member has a checking account, brokerage account, credit card, loans, credit monitoring, and eventually more of their financial life connected to SoFi, switching to another platform becomes increasingly inconvenient.

That creates an important long-term advantage.

Every new member has the potential to become more valuable over time.

The growth flywheel looks increasingly clear:

Acquire members → add products → increase engagement → improve monetization → expand margins.

As cross-selling improves, SoFi does not necessarily need to acquire every new customer from scratch to generate additional revenue. It can continue monetizing the existing customer base by expanding its relationship with each member.

What Matters Next

The key question is whether SoFi can sustain this momentum for several years—not simply whether it can deliver one or two strong quarters.

If the company can continue growing members at 30%+, increase product penetration, improve monetization, and expand margins, its earnings growth over the next several years could surprise investors who remain skeptical of the story.

That is ultimately the core bullish thesis.

SoFi's opportunity is bigger than quarterly revenue growth. The company is attempting to build a financial platform where more members lead to more products, more products increase customer value, and greater scale drives higher profitability.

If that flywheel continues to work, the market may eventually stop valuing SoFi simply as a high-growth fintech lender and start valuing it more like a scaled financial platform.

That may be the most important part of the $SOFI story.
