I think Singapore has a strong opportunity to become an important AI hub in Asia, but competition will be intense.
The most interesting part for me is job creation. AI companies may create more jobs in software, data, cybersecurity, cloud services, sales and finance. At the same time, some repetitive jobs may become automated.
I also think AI skills will become more important than having a traditional job title. People who can use AI to improve their work may have better opportunities.
Singapore's location, skilled workforce and strong business environment are important advantages. However, other Asian cities are also investing heavily in AI.
So, I would say it is too early to know who will become the leading AI hub, but Singapore is clearly positioning itself strongly.
