$NVIDIA(NVDA)$: Leadership or Last One Standing?

Nvidia gained 1.68% on Monday while the broader semiconductor group was getting hit hard. Intel and SK Hynix both dropped around 5%, while SOXL fell about 6%.

That divergence is what caught my attention.

Is Nvidia showing genuine relative strength, or is the market simply rotating toward the biggest and most liquid AI name when everything else gets sold?

There are still plenty of reasons for investors to focus on Nvidia’s position in the AI infrastructure buildout. But the valuation question hasn’t disappeared, and Michael Burry remains bearish on Nvidia even after reducing his shorter-dated put exposure.

For me, the interesting question isn’t whether Nvidia is strong today.

It’s whether that strength continues if semiconductor weakness spreads further.

If NVDA keeps holding up while peers struggle, that tells us something. If it eventually starts catching down, the current divergence could look very different.

Would you read Monday’s move as strength in NVDA — or a warning that the catch-up selloff could still come?

NVDA Rises 1.68% Against Sector Selloff — Lone AI Chip Survivor?
Nvidia (NVDA) bucked a broad semiconductor rout Monday, gaining 1.68% while SOXL plunged 6% and Intel and SK Hynix each fell 5%. Confidence in the supply chain provided a catalyst, as Samsung announced a $1B investment in Helix Digital for global AI infrastructure, while buzz around Nvidia's glass packaging roadmap reinforced its structural edge. Yet Michael Burry has added put options betting on an early AI bubble burst — when peers collapse and only Nvidia holds, is this a confirmed leadership premium, or is a catch-up decline simply overdue?
