$Rocket Lab USA, Inc.(RKLB)$ Rocket Lab just signed its largest-ever commercial contract for the small Electron rocket: 20 dedicated new launches for Japanese company Synspective.
The deal locks in a large, multi-year backlog of paid launches for Electron, and it shows strong customer confidence in Rocket Lab's reliability and cadence. They have already flown many successful missions for Synspective.
The exact value of the contract has not been disclosed, but back of napkin math puts the total contract value somewhere in the neighborhood of $130M-$170M.
