Will it 🚀 TTM?

SingPost share price has fallen quite a bit with increasing volumes in the past week or so, since the news came out.

Will it shoot up (and down), like a real meme stock? Possible?

During 2020, US meme stocks like $GameStop(GME)$$AMC Entertainment(AMC)$etc etc started by Reddit forumers to short-squeeze institutional shortsellers. Do justifications to unjustly market selling on those poorly performing stocks.

SingPost has weak fundamentals but is in the process of transforming itself into a global logistics company. Its postal part of business has been in declining, postal offices are very much like GME's game shops.

SingPost has Temasek Holdings and Alibaba as its largest shareholders. It also has the SingPost Centre as a noncore asset which can be divested.

Righ now it's making good progress in logistics services in Singapore and Australia. It makes money and is still paying good dividends.

I think SingPost is better than a 'meme stock' even it does not become one.

I could imagine a scenario that SingPost can really fly: a) selling noncore assest SingPost Centre; b) TH nationalize its postal services and sell the logistics business to Alibaba/Cainiao.
