Federal Reserve releases meeting minutes, Alibaba leads Chinese concept stocks to release financial reports
The three major U.S. stock indexes all recorded gains this week, with the Dow rising 0.55%, the S&P 500 rising 1.47%, and the Nasdaq rising 2.58%. U.S. President Trump signed a presidential memorandum on Thursday proposing to implement reciprocal tariffs, but it was not implemented immediately, which boosted market sentiment to some extent. On the other hand, although the two inflation data released this week-CPI and PPI-were higher than market expectations, the gains in PCE-related categories in the U.S. PPI data in January were relatively modest. The PCE price index is the Federal Reserve's preferred measure of inflation.
