Option Strategies to .SPX

Hello everyone! Today i want to share some option strategies with you!1.If SPX gaps down on Monday due to this tariff news, then $Cboe Volatility Index(VIX)$ will spike up, which means there will be optionselling opportunities to take advantage of the vol spike.Gamma structure for Feb 3 expiration shows put gamma stacks at 6050, 6000, 5990, 5950, 5900, and 5880. Below Friday's closing price the stronger put stacks are at 5990 and 5900, but that 5990 stack might get blown thru on a big gap down on Monday.Depending on how far SPX dumps and if there is elevated premium to capture, we will be looking to sell 5 or 10 wide spreads at the following put strikes, 0DTE expiry: 5880, 5820, 5770, 57002.Adding to this 0DTE trade ... if

.SPX: How to Make Strategies to Win?

Hello everyone! Today i want to share some option stratgies with you!1.Missed the 0DTE trade on $.SPX(.SPX)$ when it hit 6078. Was gonna write a call credit spread but didn't pull the trigger fast enough. Had the strikes and premium we wanted, but waited too long.6100 is the largest gamma call stack. We assume this would hold as strong resistance.Image

$Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ These were the #OptionsTrading positions we took on TSLA to play it for earnings today.Bought: - 495 strike calls - 352.5 strike putsWrote (sold): - 385 strike puts - 350 strike put - 315 strike putsPlan for tomorrow: - roll the 315P up to 350P to capture more premium if there is any "meat on the bone" still left - hold the 352.P as a hedge against the 350P - hold the 385P to see if we can get assigned shares by end of week (and, if it looks like that's not gonna happen, then we will roll up the strike to capture more premium) - hold the 495C into next weekImage

INCOME stocks for 2025

Income is another popular stock screening strategy. However, since early 2022 (when interest rates were much lower), stock yields have not compared as favorably to other higher-yielding investments. But rates began to come down in 2024 and additional cuts are expected in 2025. That could further even out the field when comparing stock yields with other investments that generate income. If you are interested in exploring stocks that feature relatively strong yields, here are the top 10 results for a screen looking for stocks with a high dividend yield (3.5% and greater), a dividend growth rate of at least 5.9% (5-year average), and a 90-day average daily volume of at least 610K, sorted by market cap, as of January 23, 2025. $AbbVie(ABBV)$

VALUE stocks for 2025

While growth has been the outperformer over the last 10 years, value stocks have historically held that title for much of the market's history. And while momentum can be a powerful force, investing trends can quickly change. Moreover, value stocks have the advantage of not having broadly run up as far as growth stocks in recent years, and thus their valuations are generally more attractive. $.SPX(.SPX)$ If you are interested in exploring stocks that might offer better value, here are the top 10 results of a screen looking for stocks with a low price-to-earnings ratio (between 0 and 9.3 using next year’s earnings estimate), a low price-to-cash-flow ratio (between 0 and 6.8), a low price-to-book ratio (1.3 and below), a low price-to-sales ratio (0 t

Hello everyone! Today i want to share some option analysis with you!1. $Netflix(NFLX)$ We are in! Sold a strangle (not sure why Fidelity keeps calling it a straddle). As mentioned, we are playing this for assignment of shares. Willing to take shares at just below the 200EMA. Sold a few more 730P in an IRA and other account. Jan 24 expiry.Sold a naked call on top of it just to squeeze out more premium. Naked calls are risky, but we don't see a 20%+ move happening on NFLX. If it does, that would be very surprising. It is possible though.ImageFollow me to learn more about analysis!!

Hello everyone! Today i want share some option strategies with you!1. $SUPER MICRO COMPUTER INC(SMCI)$ is trading under $35 and yet this put-write position is in profit. "How can that be" you ask? The answer is ... VOLATILITY !!What do we mean by that, and how does that explain this 35-strike put being in profit when $SMCI is trading below 35?We sold this put on Dec. 16 when SMCI was trading at a price in the 31.50-33.50 range. As of today, SMCI is trading at 30.82. So, you would think that we should be at a loss on this trade since the underlying's price has dropped lower than the strike as well as lower than the price range where we wrote this put. Look at the volatility chart. Volatility was very elevated on Dec. 16th. Higher volatility = highe

Hello everyone! Might still sell a few Jan 10 exp $215 put strike contracts tomorrow to pick up a few hundred $$$ for the week.2. $SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust(SPY)$ Levels we are watching and also optionselling put strikes on SPY for assignment (to establish a long position and then wheel the shares):- 580 volume support and point-of-control- 577 unfilled gapFollow me to learn more about analysis!!

Hello everyone! Today i want to share some option strategies with you!1 $Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ and $MicroStrategy(MSTR)$ both entering the abyss where volume support disappears. If TSLA doesn't hold at its current level, then there isn't much volume support until it gets back down to 350-360, with 340 showing the strongest volume support and point-of-control.MSTR looks like it already broke support and there isn't much volume to hold it back from retreating down to 260 before it finds a decent volume stack to hopefully act as support.2.Took these $.SPX(.SPX)$ optionselling trades earlier this morning. Sold an Iron Condor, Dec 30 expiration. Legged into the puts on t
