While some fear competition or reduced customer spending, I see Nvidia’s dominance persisting. Even if AI training costs drop, broader AI adoption will fuel GPU demand. Nvidia benefits across AI’s entire lifecycle, ensuring strong earnings growth. Holding a short put aligns with my bullish outlook, and I see continued upside potential in Nvidia’s long-term trajectory.

$VXX 20250228 48.5 CALL$ VXX: collected 2.9% premium from this covered call with strike at $48.5. Contract expires in 3 weeks on 28th Feb. Volatility was high last Mon 3rd Feb when it spike as high as $48.2 on news of US implement tariffs on Canada and Mexico. That however reverse quickly when the instructions were delayed by 30 days. Will observe how next month goes once the 30 days lapse.

$Advanced Micro Devices(AMD)$ I made an additional investment in AMD stock as it trades near its 52-week low, presenting an attractive valuation. While Q1 2025 revenue is expected to decline 7% due to seasonality, AI-driven growth in data centers and client businesses remains strong. AMD’s forward P/E of 22.6 is far lower than Nvidia’s, and with EPS expected to soar 43% this year, the stock has significant upside potential. Given Lisa Su’s bullish AI outlook, I see AMD as a long-term winner in the AI revolution and a great buying opportunity.

$BABA 20250207 95.0 CALL$ BABA: collected full premium on these covered calls when it expired in the money on 7th Feb. All my BABA shares had now been called away at last week's $90 and this week at $95 in 2 separate batches. BABA rose aggressively when they announced their AI models were competitive against deepseek and other western counterparts and that seems to be enough for the market to rally on it. For now, I'm happy to let all go as BABA had histories of self destruct when it reaches higher range. Happy for BABA to chuck along higher, just that I'm no longer riding together with it. Take my money in pocket and going for other trades.

$MSTR 20250207 400.0 CALL$ MSTR: collected full premium on these covered calls when it expired worthless on Friday 7th. MSTR were pretty tame this whole week, even after earnings on 5th Feb and expected, were a non event this round. The counter just moving alongside most market. BTC also been moving along with increasing correlation to risk on market and still range $92k and $108k. There probably be some catalyst coming when Trump administration announce its crypto strategies, in the meanwhile, the market just move along.

10 Jan Market Start Week On Positive Note Ignore Tariff Threats
The market saw the U.S. stocks rose on Monday (10 Feb) to begin the week on a positive note, ignoring the additional tariff threats. This has helped it to recover from last Friday's declines with a buy-the-dip trend after consumer sentiment data suggested tariff uncertainty has contributed to a drop in confidence about the economy in recent weeks. President Trump over the weekend said he planned to impose reciprocal tariffs on any country that taxes U.S. imports, as well as a 25% tariff on all steel and aluminum imports. Shares of steelmakers U.S. Steel (X) and Cleveland-Cliffs (CLF) rose on Monday. That has also helped Nucor (NUE) to rise 5.6% and Alcoa (AA) also gained 2.2%.
