$BABA 20251017 220.0 CALL$ Took quick profit after 2 hours of ~USD 100. The theory was right. Unfortunately, I only had one lot for cautious optimism and to participate in the situation. I didn't want to hold on to this because there was a chance it might reverse its trajectory and get stuck in an uncomfortable position. All in all a fun and good trade.

I may not necessarily agree with his views but given his views I think that the oil and gas sectors are here to stay. Going by line item trends, this flies in the face of overall trends. Soon the market was selling off, very quickly this call option was already in profit. Along the way sold a CSPUT option as well, however the put entry wasn't timed well, as with the underlying continues to slide, while the put expired worthless could have gotten a higher premium.
