$Schwab US Broad Market ETF(SCHB)$ 🌟🌟🌟When the markets are down, it is time to get active.   Warren Buffett likes to say "When there is fear in the markets, it is time to be greedy".    I invest in SCHB as it gives me access to 2500 of the best US companies in just 1 trade.  SCHB offers great value for money as it is low cost and has a low expense ratio of just 0.03%.    Donald Trump's wide ranging tariffs has caused much uncertainty in the markets and VIX, the fear index has jumped to 27.  However this is the time to be brave and go bargain hunting.   The markets will recover as they often do.  Volatility is the price I am prepared to pay for long term gains.

What to Expect from February’s CPI Release!

$SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust(SPY)$ $NASDAQ(.IXIC)$ Trade Tensions and Inflation Risks Recent trade policy changes have raised concerns about renewed inflationary pressures. The introduction of 25% tariffs on imports from Canada and Mexico, along with higher duties on Chinese goods, could drive up consumer prices. Businesses may pass these increased costs onto consumers, potentially reversing progress toward price stability. This challenge comes at a critical time as the Fed navigates its policy normalization process. Sectors heavily reliant on imports, such as consumer electronics, automotive parts, and household goods, could see the most immediate price increases. Analysts suggest these tariffs may start

Shifting Tides: Contrasting Economic Narratives in Eastern and Western Markets

China’s sustained economic development continues to serve as a stabilizing force in Asia, underpinning regional growth through strategic investments in infrastructure, technology, and multilateral partnerships. This contrasts with evolving dynamics in Western markets, where financial ecosystems face mounting scrutiny over sustainability. The U.S. stock market’s decade-long bull run, fueled by expansive monetary policies and tech-sector dominance, has drawn global capital into historically high valuations. While this prosperity underscores America’s financial innovation, concerns about overvaluation and speculative excess now loom large. A market correction appears increasingly inevitable as investors weigh stretched price-to-earnings ratios against slowing corporate earnings growth. Singap

My view still remains the same, though I'd maybe advise people from choosing options right now and instead pick ordinary shares.  The harsh reality is that Market Movers and institutions control more of the stock market then you, so if they want to force the stock market to move somewhere, there is nothing you or I can do about it.  However the good news is that these guys make their moves pretty short term, 1 to 3 months at max and week to week in their shortest. In the long run, 10 to 30 years the stock market always grows as a whole, so owning shares of com

$Tesla Motors(TSLA)$  As a long term tsla shareholder such drops like yesterday's Is nothing new. I've been holding tsla through the ups and downs other than the price nothing has changed, tsla is still the leader in real world AI. Autonomous vehicles are the future and tsla will lead the charge. Robotaxies are planned to begin in June in Austin this year. With Elon so close to President Trump, I believe that regulations will be easier to pass. Let's hope that it will not get delayed. At these prices it's great to be dollar cost averaging if you believe in Tesla's future. So buckle up and enjoy the ride cos it sure is a wild one [OMG]

$NVDA(NVDA)$  Why Trump policies will strength US economy in the long term? Trump loves to win and recession is definitely not a win. But he did not want to reveal his perspectice of recession because it will be used as a chip against him during his tariffs negotiations with other countries. Most of the current pain is short term. Tariffs are one-time events that won’t impact inflation in a big way, and we are starting to see him refining the tariff policies as they progress. For instance, despite initial concerns, corporate executives have largely maintained a steady outlook, with 76% of reporting companies beating fourth-quarter earnings estimates, slightly below the five-year average. We see that he is more focused on reciprocal tariffs an

$BYD COMPANY(01211)$  $Tesla Motors(TSLA)$  Rumors suggest Tesla and BYD might collaborate on Full Self-Driving (FSD), combining Tesla’s advanced autonomy tech with BYD’s massive EV market presence. This could disrupt autonomous driving by accelerating adoption, lowering costs, and challenging competitors like Waymo and Xpeng. Likely impacts include faster market penetration in China, reduced prices for consumers, and intensified competition, though regulatory and technical hurdles remain. Evidence is speculative, based on recent statements and posts on X, with controversy over feasibility and job impacts. Regardless of whether this potential

The Democratization of AI: How DeepSeek is Changing the Game for Large Language Models

Written by Lucas Lok In the past two years, major tech companies like Microsoft, Amazon, and Meta have led the way in artificial intelligence, pouring billions into developing large language models such as OpenAI’s GPT series and Google’s BERT. These innovations have transformed industries—from customer service to content creation—but until now, only deep-pocketed corporations could afford the high costs and technical challenges involved. DeepSeek is now changing that narrative. By streamlining training processes, using more efficient algorithms, and relying on cost-effective hardware, DeepSeek dramatically lowers the cost and complexity of building and deploying large language models. This breakthrough opens the door for startups, academic institutions, and smaller companies to access adv

$Tesla Motors(TSLA)$   Short term Bearish  Long term Bullish  Back in May 2024, doomsayers on Reddit had this to say, Tesla will go the way of Blackberry, where they had the first mover advantage and lost it because they wouldn't innovate beyond what made them successful initially. Another Redditor had this to add, Tesla has a leadership problem, plain and simple. Elon is steering the ship into the ground, sounding ominous. Ironically, Tesla hit it's low of 2024 at $138 before rebounding on stronger earnings. Love it or hate it, his endorsement of Donald Trump was theb catalyst for Tesla rebound to $488. It's Mar 2025 and we are back to the same scenario, with Tesla’s stock price hitting a recent low of $250

$Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ i think the tesla hate will continue to gain momentum. Sales will continue to plummet over the next few months. Am i selling puts? No. Because true zealots are still holding out for self driving and robots.  For me there are just too many balls in the air. I believe the stock is seriously overvalued and now has massive headwinds. But to many have invested too much to let it go down. Personally, I would not buy it at $40 per share. Nor would i buy ford or any other US vehicle manufacturer. Trump has blatantly lied about the impact of tariffs on the US economy. China, canada and mexico don't pay, US consumers pay.  Yes the American economy is massive, and other countries could replace supply, but would they even consid

Shopify Stock Analysis: Buy, Sell, or Hold?

$Shopify(SHOP)$ Shopify is a dynamic e-commerce company experiencing accelerated revenue growth, expanding profit margins, and increasing cash flow. Naturally, many investors are intrigued by these strong financial trends and are wondering whether Shopify stock is a good buy at its current valuation. In this articles, I’ll address that question by analyzing key financial metrics, including recent revenue growth, operating margin expansion, cash flow from operations, and returns on invested capital. I’ll also evaluate Shopify’s valuation using forward price-to-earnings and price-to-free cash flow ratios, along with an updated discounted cash flow (DCF) model. Based on these insights, I’ll determine whether Shopify stock is a buy, hold, or sell. Ear
