The Trade Desk: Why Tariffs Are Just Static on the Signal
Privacy, Premium Streams, and Profit Margins Could Power a Rebound $Trade Desk Inc.(TTD)$ has certainly been roughed up in recent months, its share price plunging 52.09% year-to-date and nearly 32% from its February peak alone. Tariff tremors, execution missteps, and a miss on Q4 2024 earnings guidance have rattled investor confidence. Yet, when I look beyond the headlines, it’s clear that The Trade Desk isn’t merely clinging to the wreckage — it’s quietly steering towards an even stronger future. This isn’t a case of blind optimism. $NVIDIA(NVDA)$ Nvidia Faces New AI Chip Competition from Huawei: Nvidia's stock price dropped by 2% on Monday, even as the S&P 500 went up by 0.2%. This happened because a Chinese company, Huawei Technologies, is reportedly getting ready to challenge Nvidia in the market for artificial intelligence (AI) chips. According to The Wall Street Journal, Huawei has approached some Chinese tech companies to test its new chip called the Ascend 910D. Huawei hopes this new chip will be more powerful than Nvidia's H100 chip, which came out in 2022 and has since been followed by newer Nvidia chips like the Hopper series and the Blackwell AI semiconductors. Currently, Nvidia is not allowed to sell its most advanced AI chips to companies in China. Howe

TQQQ: how to beat the market by disciplined leverage
$ProShares UltraPro QQQ(TQQQ)$ In this article, I will show you a way to use leverage to generate extra return, or alpha, to beat the market and make extra money. The key of this method are two fold. First, the leverage is adjusted dynamically. That is, we will apply different levels of leverage under different market conditions to maximize our return. The second key is that the method will help us to stay disciplined. Discipline is absolutely crucial for the use of leverage in the long run. As a result, the method will help us generate consistent extra return on our money. The dynamic adjustment is based on volatility, which is relatively easier to predict than stock market returns. We will use the so-call VIX index, t
$XIAOMI-W(01810)$ AI Sentiment Summary Over the past 10 sessions, the price initially declined from 44.25 to 41.25, with sentiment turning negative mid-period. However, a strong rebound followed, lifting the price to 48.20, accompanied by a sustained positive sentiment trend. Despite a slight pullback to 47.50, sentiment remained bullish in the latter sessions, indicating resilience despite minor fluctuations. Looking ahead, sentiment is expected to weaken if the price falls to or below 46.63, potentially signalling a shift in market confidence. If this level holds, the upward trend may persist, but a breach could lead to further declines. Monitoring sentiment around this threshold will be key to gauging near-term price direction.
$SMIC(00981)$ AI Sentiment Summary Over the past 10 sessions, the price showed initial strength, rising from 46.7 to 47.5, followed by a decline to 45.35, then fluctuating between 45.4 and 46.8. The sentiment trend was initially positive (↑) for three sessions but turned negative (↓) for the next five, before improving (↑) in the last two sessions. Despite price volatility, recent sentiment has shown tentative signs of recovery. Looking ahead, sentiment is poised to weaken if the price falls below 45.42 or improve if it surpasses 46.88. Given the recent uptick in sentiment and modest price recovery, there is cautious optimism. However, failure to breach 46.88 may sustain bearish sentiment, while a drop below 45.42 could reinforce downward p
This is all typical national parrotting straight from the neoclassical textbook, and/or blaming anybody but themselves for NZ's absolute basket case of an economy. If they hadn't destroyed 1000s of public sectors jobs in Wellington AND THE the ripple through effects that have rendered our capital city a ghost town, there would be much less need of talk about "job creation". As for cutting red tape, WHAT red tape?? NZ is the easiest place in the OECD to start a business, close it, register it, list it, bankrupt it... Whatever. 28 years resident in this NOT developed country and still waiting for somebody, anybody to challenge governments' ALWAYS simplified and nearly always patently wrong rubbish about how best to "fix" the economy. (Hint: about ANYTHING except EVERYTHING they've done
$Palantir Technologies Inc.(PLTR)$ PLTR had a correction back to $109 where we have seen very strong support at $109 which caused PLTR to recovered back above to $112 price level which was the pre-market price level. If PLTR managed to hold $112.3-$113, then next level of resistance to watch for is $114-$114.5. Quick scalp using Contra account on the strong rebounce from the earlier $109 correction. Got in 100shares at $109.85, queued to sell all at $111.69 which got filled.
$Direxion Daily TSLA Bull 2X Shares(TSLL)$ Another scalp on TSLA today using Tiger Contra Account. Traded using TSLL instead of actual TSLA ticket symbol because the price per unit is smaller, while price action is the same as TSLA. TSLL works well with Tiger Contra account because Contra account doesn't allow options trading, and TSLA price is too pricey for trading since profit/loss won't be significant. As mentioned, TSLA have support around $260 or $275 price level. Earlier just now, TSLA somehow managed to retrace back to $273-$275 which was a great opportunity because that was a pretty huge support level it seems. Took the chance and entered this position at $9.73 (when TSLA was around $275). TSLA then indeed managed to hold
