$PLTR 20250815 65.0 PUT$ Sold the $65 strike put on PLTR, August monthly expiry. This play takes advantage of elevated implied volatility and the stock's continued strength. With PLTR trading well above the strike, the premium collected is solid, and the long-dated nature gives time to manage or roll if needed. Thesis: Willing to own more at $65 if assigned (fits with the DCA strategy). Letting theta do the work over the next few months. Jerome Powell will speak later at the fomc press conference I have no idea what is gonna happen but any mention of interest rate cuts will send the market soaring but if he is hawkish then I'll sell another covered call tomorrow

$iShares 20+ Year Treasury Bond ETF(TLT)$ Bought some tlt to dca before fomc. The Trump administration has been signaling to the fed to cut interest rates. Even though they are not cutting during this meeting they might signal that they will cut soon and that will cause tlt to rally 🤞

Positive earnings and forward guidance met with a dip in price, possibly due to large funds deleveraging. Will be exploring other opportunities in the quantum computing space with caution.

I have occasionally trimmed my position for minor profits, as Wilmar has become overweight in my portfolio. My strategy has been to gradually reduce my holdings during uptrends while realizing some profits along the way. If the stock declines, I plan to buy more and hold for dividend collection. This approach has remained intact for three years. The dividend yield is a crucial anchor point that gives me confidence in holding onto my shares. Still betting that $3500 resistance will be a strong one for now until new catalyst or weakness in the market push it above the level. In the meanwhile, sell new call to capture some premium on the bearish side betting that it will retrace before making the next big move.
