Sadly, I don’t have any friends who work in these companies. I would love to know what is so amazing about these companies that allowed them to become best employers. I do know some of the technology companies offer perks such as free meals, games within office, flexible working hours but I think a great employer goes beyond providing all these. There must be something they are doing right to build the desirable work culture. Having been to Apple Store recently, I think it helps that they have sufficient manpower so that their employees don’t feel that they are squeezed dry everyday at work. I think having a brand as a top employer helps attract talent to the company and could be a win-win situation for both parties if the talent can be retained. 🌟🌟🌟The Nasdaq 100 Index erasing its year todate declines is certainly an encouraging development. Renewed optimism can be derived from favourable catalysts such as easing trade tensions, positive political signals or improved earnings on tech stocks. However caution needs to be exercised to determine if it is a short term rally as the macroeconomic conditions are still prevailing. Either way, I will still take the long term perspective as I believe that the market will reward those who have patience to buy and hold great stocks like the Magnificent 7 over the long term.
