It is impossible to predict the market and trump’s flip flop plans make it even harder to even see some form of trend. Just yesterday, we get news that the federal court ruled that he overstepped his powers with his tariffs and today it got overturned by the appeals court. I would think that June would be a month of his tariffs plans, how the other countries managed to appease him with countermeasures like buying more US products, whether the wars can successfully cease. My main holdings are in HK stocks and this week has been a bad week. I have already taken profit on some like mixue and maogeping. Moving forward, I think it is important to stick to the game plan. That is to only buy stocks of quality company, average down if I need to and if I still have cash[Facepalm], and take prof

Jensen Sells Another 6 Mln Shares! How Much Did NVIDIA Drop Last Time?

Amid the wave of optimism following $NVIDIA(NVDA)$ earnings, the market was suddenly shaken by news that Jensen Huang plans to sell over 6 mln shares, $800 million worth of company stock this year. The stock price quickly fell back below $140.According to a filing submitted to SEC, Jensen Huang initiated a Rule 10b5-1 trading plan on March 20, aiming to sell up to 6 million shares of Nvidia stock. This new selling plan is set to expire by the end of 2025, and no shares have been sold under it yet.Interestingly, this planned sale mirrors his previous plan, under which he sold 6 million shares between June 14 and September 13, 2024, cashing out approximately $713 million at an average price of $118.83 per share.Did Jensen Huang Perfectly Escape the T
Jensen Sells Another 6 Mln Shares! How Much Did NVIDIA Drop Last Time?
TOPShyon: Jensen Huang’s planned sale of 6 million shares again is catching my attention, especially since it mirrors his 2024 sale that coincided with a 25% dip in Nvidia’s stock. While using a Rule 10b5-1 plan is standard, the timing and pace of past sales suggest there could be short-term pressure if he follows a similar pattern this year. Still, I don’t see this as a sign that Jensen lacks confidence in Nvidia’s future. He continues to hold a large stake, and the company’s AI growth story remains strong. This seems more like personal financial planning than a signal of trouble, but it could trigger market jitters in the near term. If Nvidia sees another pullback like last August, I might actually look to add on the dip. The fundamentals remain intact, but insider selling at this scale can rattle sentiment. I’ll be watching closely for any repeat of last year’s pattern. @Tiger_comments @TigerStars @Tiger_SG @TigerClub

I bought SG stocks since the 1990s but never bothered to follow the activities of the stock and just leave it there.  Now (35 yrs later) and retired have become interested in buying stocks and learning as much as possible when to buy, when not to buy, how much to buy and when to sell these stocks. Not only that, learning to pick up skills in reading company reports and identify good companies from the bad ones. Have lost some money in the forex market and will never go back into that again! Dangerous!!

Amgen: Margin Alchemy, Pipeline Agility, and the Quiet Power Move

$Amgen(AMGN)$ doesn’t scream for attention—and that’s exactly why I’m paying close attention. While much of biotech is navigating a volatile funding landscape or spinning hype around obesity pipelines, Amgen has been methodically rewriting its playbook. The share price has nudged up 8.6% year-to-date, quietly outpacing the S&P 500’s modest 0.1% gain. Yet with a forward P/E of just 13.35 and a PEG ratio under 1, this $150 billion stalwart looks like a biotech quietly brewing a second act. Margin alchemy: Where molecular geometry meets biotech balance sheet mastery Margin Alchemy Behind the Curtain What caught my eye first is Amgen’s margin expansion trick—subtle, but meaningful. The company posted a non-GAAP operating margin of nearly 46% in Q1

Tesla Faces Sharp Sales Decline in Europe Amid Rising EV Competition: What Investors Should Know

$Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ Tesla stockholders were hit with sobering news this week: the company’s sales in Europe plunged by nearly 49% in April, year-over-year. While the broader electric vehicle (EV) market in Europe is expanding rapidly—with BEV sales rising nearly 28%—Tesla is losing market share at an accelerating pace. This trend highlights intensifying competitive pressures and raises fresh questions about the company’s near-term prospects. At the same time, CEO Elon Musk announced he plans to spend more time at Tesla, a move that seems aimed at calming investor nerves and reinforcing confidence in the company’s long-term vision. Jensen Sells Stock Again: Will Nvidia Repeat August Trend?

$NVIDIA(NVDA)$ Nvidia has been riding high, delivering jaw-dropping numbers that keep Wall Street buzzing. Their latest first-quarter earnings revealed a staggering $44.1 billion in revenue—a 69% leap from last year. Analysts had pegged expectations at $43.29 billion, and even Nvidia’s own guidance of $42.14 billion to $43.86 billion was outdone. Compare that to the previous quarter’s 78% year-over-year surge, and it’s clear: Nvidia’s growth engine is roaring. But just as investors were basking in the glow, a new twist emerged—CEO Jensen Huang is set to offload up to 6 million shares, according to a 10-Q filing submitted Wednesday. Cue the whispers: is this a storm cloud looming over Nvidia’s sunny horizon? Could it signal a repeat of an ominous A

[Recap] Did You Make Money From May Rally? Hold or Sell in June?

As of May 29, $S&P 500(.SPX)$ has risen 6.16% this month, marking its best monthly gain of the year.Meanwhile, $Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ and $NVIDIA(NVDA)$ both surged 27% in May. Many are closely watching Tesla’s upcoming Robotaxi launch in Austin this June, expecting it to boost the stock. Personally, I believe TSLA will move in the opposite direction of the crowd’s expectations.$HSI(HSI)$ also saw a strong rally in May, climbing 5%. IPOs performed even better — for example, CATL jumped 16% on its debut, 01276 rose 15%, and 02629 surged 28%.However, Behind the Rally — Is June's Macro Outlook Concerning? The market continu
[Recap] Did You Make Money From May Rally? Hold or Sell in June?
TOPShyon: May turned out to be a strong month for the markets. Tesla and NVIDIA had standout performances, but I’m cautious about the hype, especially around Tesla’s upcoming Robotaxi launch. When expectations run high, the market often moves in the opposite direction — I wouldn’t be surprised if we see a pullback. The Hang Seng Index also rallied, and IPOs in Hong Kong were quite impressive. Still, I’m keeping an eye on the bigger picture. With rising Treasury yields and growing doubts about the U.S. as a safe haven, June could bring some headwinds despite recent gains. I added to my Tesla position in April and saw good returns in May. I’m still holding but plan to take some profit if the rally continues. While June doesn’t have a strong seasonal record, I’m open to both scenarios — either a continued grind higher or a healthy pause. @Tiger_SG @Tiger_comments @TigerStars

PDD Stock: Sink or Swim at $100?

Pinduoduo ( $PDD Holdings Inc(PDD)$ ) just dropped a bombshell: Q1 revenue hit RMB 95.67 billion, missing the mark of RMB 101.6 billion. The result? A brutal 13% plunge in its stock price yesterday, dragging it down to $100. Investors are now at a crossroads—buy the dip or short the slide? Is this a golden opportunity or a trap waiting to spring? And could PDD be replaying last August’s horror show? Let’s break it down. The Earnings Fallout: A Deeper Look PDD’s Q1 2025 revenue grew 10% year-over-year to RMB 95.67 billion—not terrible, but shy of the RMB 101.6 billion analysts expected. The real gut punch? Profits cratered. Operating profit fell 38% to RMB 16.09 billion, and net income nosedived 47% to RMB 14.74 billion. Why? A 37% surge in operatin

In today’s world, where remote work and flexible careers are becoming the norm, many people are starting to rethink how and where they live. One smart approach is geo-arbitrage: earning in a strong currency like the Singapore dollar (SGD) while living in a country where the cost of living is much lower. Let’s face it, Singapore is a great place to work, but it’s not exactly cheap to live. But what if you could keep earning in SGD and enjoy a higher standard of living in places like Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, or Indonesia? In cities like Chiang Mai or Da Nang, your rent, food, and daily expenses could be a fraction of what you’d spend in Singapore. Think $2 meals, $400 beachfront apartments, and affordable healthcare. Your savings grow faster, and your money goes further. This lifestyle i

$VanEck Junior Gold Miners ETF(GDXJ)$ With all the market uncertainty and inflation pressure still hanging around, gold and silver are back in the spotlight. They're classic safe-haven assets, especially good at hedging against inflation, and since they don’t pay interest, they actually shine more when interest rates are low. Goldman Sachs even came out and named gold and oil as must-haves for long-term portfolios to fight inflation. Why? Because there’s growing concern over the credibility of U.S. institutions and oil’s resilience to supply shocks. In times like these, gold becomes the go-to safe harbor for smart money.

$HENGRUI PHARMA(01276)$ isn't the kind of stock you want to trade in and out of. You sell it on impulse today, and tomorrow it just won't dip to your buy-back price. When you're finally ready to load up again, it feels too expensive. In the end, all that flipping just works against you.
