CURR is Hiring Investigators to Track Suspicious Short Activity – What’s Going On?
$CURRENC Group Inc(CURR)$ just dropped some major news: the company announced via press release that it’s engaging ShareIntel to investigate potential illegal naked short selling of its stock. This is a bold move we’ve seen a few under-the-radar companies make recently, and it signals that management is serious about protecting shareholder value. In fact, Currenc’s founder openly stated they “may have been the target of naked short selling” and are taking action to “ensure transparent trading practices and mai
As Q2 earnings season continues with the familiar theme of stocks gapping up and selling off post-earnings, the most reliable strategy this week remains sell calls after earnings. However, based on the current option flow, AMD, PLTR, and SMCI do not show significantly higher upside expectations compared to last week, so selling calls early may also be a viable approach. $Figma(FIG)$ Figma’s options begin trading on its third day post-IPO, with August 15 expirations worth monitoring. $Advanced Micro Devices(AMD)$ Last week, institutions sold calls at $182.5 and $185 while hedging with call buys at $190 and $195.After Friday’s roll, this week’s sell call strikes remain $180 and $185:$AMD 20250808 180.0 CALL$AM

$META 20250801 810.0 CALL$ This META covered call option was opened on the earning week, just 3 days before the report, to ride the high IV in order to collect a higher premium, the strike was rather far out thinking the days of META going up 15%--20% is not quite possible as the share price is already inflated, however, the earning still took the market's breath away and headed up over 12% at some point. On the next day the over all market started to pull back, META pulls back over 3% closing at $750 o at bthe low my short call strike, thus rendering this option expired worthless, kept the full premium. Will continue to sell covered call with far out strike sighting the volatility may continue to be elevated
$ASML 20250801 660.0 PUT$ This bi-weekly CSP option on ASML was opened shortly after its earning repott last week. While the earnings were good, beating analyst's expectations, the company has put up a less than optimistic forecast sending the stock down 8% on the very next day. This contract was opened a few days later when the price hit a support level of 705, so I thought. While the share price did rebounded from that level it again came back down lower along with broader market, closing back below 690 when market closes on Friday. It is still above my short put strike thus this contact expired worthless. Looking to sell anothe CSP comes Monday - looking at next major support level of 625.
