Dell has been one of the strongest AI-related stocks this year, alongside NVIDIA and Broadcom. As of September 2, Dell closed at $492.20, gaining 15.8% in a single session and moving close to its 52-week high of $514. The stock has now risen more than 230% year to date. After such a massive rally, does Dell still have room to run? I don’t think we should judge it simply by how high the share price has gone. There was a time when reporting 221% growth in AI revenue would have been enough to send almost any semiconductor stock flying. Broadcom just did exactly that. The stock fell anyway. And I think that tells us something much bigger about where the AI trade has reached. Broadcom didn’t report a weak quarter.
