$Marvell Technology(MRVL)$ AI infrastructure stocks have been completely reset after this month's historic sell-off, but earnings season has shown that AI fundamentals have actually improved quite a bit. A lot of the unprofitability narratives have been silenced. I think the AI rally has room to extend and could potentially make new all-time highs or get close, based on what we've seen. That said, I don't think there will be as much margin in these names as before, partly because of what happened with that Leopold guy who blew up his hedge fund. That could cap the gains and prevent any parabolic moves. Just my take.
$Marvell Technology(MRVL)$ The pullback actually feels like a healthy reset. I got in around 200, so I'm still underwater, but I have no doubt this will eventually make new ATHs.
$Marvell Technology(MRVL)$ Amazon's in-house chip business is at $25 billion. That looks like a solid tailwind for Marvell, given they help Amazon with chip designs.
$Marvell Technology(MRVL)$ It's now below where it was before the last earnings report. That feels pretty extreme. I think there's a strong upside move coming.
$Marvell Technology(MRVL)$ Amazon, Microsoft, and Alphabet's earnings reports look very bullish for AI hardware stocks. They are showing massive growth in their cloud businesses driven directly by AI. The idea that AI is unprofitable no longer holds up.
$Marvell Technology(MRVL)$ The only way it makes sense to keep buying and lower your average is if you actually believe this can reach a 1T market cap. It could end up like AMD. I remember AMD got absolutely crushed back then. Then boom — look at where it is now.
$Marvell Technology(MRVL)$ Today's price action in Marvell and a bunch of other growth stocks is a pretty good example of why "time in the market beats timing the market." Nobody, myself included, could have predicted a +10% morning move here or anywhere else. There was all kinds of bad macro sentiment, tons of negative headlines, fear mongering about a crash, competition talk, the whole lot. You don't sell winners. You buy good companies in emerging industries, hold them, and accumulate over time. The dip-buying over the past few weeks worked out nicely. MRVL is shaping up to be a strong compounder going forward. A lot of the bearish takes around here seem to come from people who don't even understand the numbers the company is about to put
$Marvell Technology(MRVL)$ Seems like a good area to add or start a position. Market cap is almost half of what it was four weeks ago. MSFT is going to be aggressive. Maia 200 continues to scale. It delivers 30% better performance per dollar than the latest generation hardware in their fleet and is now supporting both OpenAI and MAI models. And they will be among the first cloud providers to deploy next-generation rack-scale AI infrastructure based on AMD Helios and NVIDIA Vera Rubin. All of that contains MRVL inside as well.
$Marvell Technology(MRVL)$ This company is packed with groundbreaking innovations. Looking at their growth and how they've pivoted the business, it's hard not to be impressed. I'm ultra bullish on it.
$Marvell Technology(MRVL)$ Nothing has really changed except the stock price. The company is still growing and making plenty of money. Marvell Technology plans to invest $250m in India over three years, so more growth ahead.
$Advanced Micro Devices(AMD)$ Still up 143% over the last year. $Marvell Technology(MRVL)$ is up 116%. $ARM Holdings(ARM)$ is up 106%. That doesn't look like a broken trade to me. The gap seems to be the market pricing in a reset after a monster run, while the underlying business is still being valued against AI spend that hasn't rolled over. Today feels more like profit-taking, not a verdict. Either the street re-rates it, or the discount stays locked in. The market decides.
$Marvell Technology(MRVL)$ There was some aggressive call buying late in the session, the kind that's hard to ignore. Heavy flow showed up in MRVL. Repeated Oct. 16 $250 calls were bought aggressively at the ask. Over $1.7M in premium came through across multiple sweep orders within seconds. The largest sweep was $371K, with several more buys ranging from $140K to $265K. The way these orders stacked into the same strike and expiration, and the speed of it, makes it look more like a high-conviction buyer building a bullish position than just isolated trades. Definitely a name to keep on watch heading into the next few sessions.
$Marvell Technology(MRVL)$ Honestly, I don't think there are many real shorts left in semis. It feels more like a few losers just trolling these boards.
$Marvell Technology(MRVL)$ Back to the price level before Nvidia talked about the growth this company could see. It could hit $300 again before you know it.
$Marvell Technology(MRVL)$ The indiscriminate selling isn't going to last forever. A lot of these companies have real fundamentals that aren't showing any signs of slowing down, which is pretty much what Teradyne's earnings just confirmed. The parabolic sections of the charts have been wiped out in equally record fashion. From where I stand, this looks more like a buying opportunity.
$Marvell Technology(MRVL)$ I got in at 175 and it just kept dropping right after. My average cost still looks decent from where I stand, but I'm really starting to wonder when we'll finally see some kind of relief rally.
