$SPCX May Go Higher, But Is the Risk/Reward There?

Make sure the potential reward is worth your capital's time. Risk profile sounds like a fancy finance term but it's not. Take 5 minutes to understand it. This next line will sound cliche but bear w me. Does the reward significantly outweigh the risk within my timeframe? Perfect example. SpaceX $SpaceX(SPCX)$ IPO was cool and all...but thinking objectively here. Do you really have outsized reward potential buying during the euphoria of the most anticipated IPO of all time? Probably not. That doesn't mean it can't and won't make ATHs at some point, but this back to my original question up there. The reward RIGHT NOW does not significantly outweigh the risk for me. When looking at a new position, I want to see the potential for 100%+ returns. Won't a

The Prompt That Uncovers Hidden Stock Opportunities

"What is wall street missing?" One of my highest-value prompts. Prompt: You are a top-tier hedge fund analyst. Analyze [TICKER]. Ignore consensus opinions and focus entirely on variant perception. Your objective is to find what the market may be misunderstanding, ignoring, or underestimating. Provide: 1) Business Summary - what does the company do? - how does it make money? - why does it matter? > Bull Case What could go right? What are investors missing? What hidden growth drivers exist? What future catalysts could emerge? What optionality is not reflected in the stock price? > Bear Case What could go wrong? What risks are underappreciated? What assumptions must be true for the thesis to fail? > Variant Perception What does Wall Street currently believe? What alternative outcome

$MELI's Real Moat Isn't E-Commerce, It's Logistics

Logistics is an important moat for $MercadoLibre(MELI)$ ! Competition can kill even the strongest of businesses. Moats protect companies from competition. By building a large and sophisticated logistics network, MELI increases the barrier to entry for new entrants. If MELI spends a decade and billions in building Envios, competitors would have to do the same. Physical assets are not that easily disrupted. Let’s say that a competitor with a better website, smarter marketing, and unique products enters a market MELI operates in. All of those things won’t matter if customers must wait 1-2 weeks to receive their order. Convenience and price trump uniqueness and novelty! And the next step to deliver superior convenience is same and next-day delivery. A

The Best Traders Don't Care What Day It Is

Most traders have this huge distinction between the weekdays and the weekends. But if you're focused on bigger picture ideas, it all kinda feels the same whether it's a tuesday or a saturday because: - you're still not pressing buttons that much - you're mostly waiting & observing - you're spending free time researching & managing - you're waiting for A+ setups The market being open only really matters when you have to buy/sell, which isn't all that common for the best swing traders. So my weekends look like my weekdays: - researching emerging themes - finding new/undiscovered stocks - monitoring my fav X accounts - reviewing my thesis changes (if any) - planning technical levels - using thematic maps to spot new trends - creating watchlists for shorter term trade ideas - talking t

2 Revenue Engines Powering $MELI's Marketplace Empire

There are two main direct ways $MercadoLibre(MELI)$ monetizes the e-commerce marketplace: - First-party sales (1P) - Third-party sales (3P) When MELI sells products that it owns and holds in inventory to customers, it acts as a first-party seller. In this scenario, MELI sources goods directly from the manufacturer or the distributor and handles the transportation and storage. Most crucially, the company is in full control of pricing and recognizes the entire sale as revenue. So, if they sell a blender for $60, they recognize the whole $60 as revenue. Meanwhile, 3P is when a product purchased by the customer is sold by an independent merchant, not by Mercado Libre itself. MELI charges the merchant fees for using the platform and recognizes said fee

Two Big Catalysts, One Big Trap: My 6-Month Market Outlook

Prediction for next 6 months: - markets chop around until spaceX ipo (expected on june 12th, a friday). - over that weekend, trump will also finalize a US/Iran peace deal…celebration will ensue. - two massive wins by mid-june!! - markets will pop 1-2% on that monday (the 15th), but it’ll be fake. - $SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust(SPY)$ will chop around + be super volatile the rest of june - a local top has been made - selling pressure accelerates into late summer months - dip is sharp + scary, many calling for doomsday again - but it’s short-lived…markets rip into end of year We shall see. 😍 Been eyeing Tiger merch but short on Tiger Coins? 5 Catalysts Fueling the Next Robinhood Bull Case

$Robinhood(HOOD)$ - trump accounts official launch is july 4th!! - world cup + prediction markets - no more PDT rule = more trading activity - vlad tenev: “prediction market supercycle” coming - insider BUYING recently Why now? Welp, on the predication markets angle...we have midterm elections and the biggest sporting event on earth happening within months of eachother, AND the world cup in in north america (ideal for robinhood). Also, it's america's 250th birthday on July 4th...trump accounts officially launch that day...you don't think there's a possibility of a "trump accounts" or hood mention in a big speech. Non-zero possibility for sure. The elimination of the PDT rule is bigger than most people think. Fewer restrictions = more activity...mo

$ONDS Deep Dive: A Pure-Play Bet on America's Drone Dominance

$Ondas Holdings Inc.(ONDS)$ . Deep dive. Becoming one of my top swing ideas. Reminder: - fourth of july is in <1 month - america's 250th birthday - trump talking about drone dominance - discussions of equity stakes in drone co's - america250 celebration Feels like a good time to be long american defense companies...but anyways. 1) eric brock (the ceo) is not a drone founder. - most drone CEOs are engineers - eric spent ~20yrs as an institutional investor + port manager - kinda odd, but - i believe there's an angle here where ONDS is almost being treated as a investment vehicle with multiple levers: - american robotics, airobotics, iron drone, etc - with the goal of being anduril-type of platform with more of a robotics flair 2) anduril IPO run-

Why I Own $ONDS, $NBIS and $SLV in the Same Portfolio

When I'm building my portfolio, I want to be concentrated at the stock level, but diversified at the theme level. I look for the strongest + emerging themes...think drones, software, robotics. Then I concentrate in the leaders within those themes. But at the same time, I don’t want all of my exposure tied to a single area like tech, so I diversify at the theme level by owning things like silver and copper. Gives me diversification across themes while still allowing me to stay concentrated in the highest-conviction names within each one. So...if technology starts taking a beating, metals can float my portfolio + carry the load until things settle down. Just an example, but could look something like: $Ondas Holdings Inc.(ONDS)$ = drone theme
