Hong Kong stock market extended gained on Thursday. The Hang Seng Index rose 1.6%, while the Hang Seng Tech Index climbed 2.8%.
Big tech stocks shined. Kuaishou rose 8%; Alibaba rose 5%; Baidu rose 4%; Bilibili, NetEase, XPeng, Meituan, JD.com, and Tencent rose 3%; BYD, Li Auto, and SMIC rose 2%; Xiaomi rose 1%.
