伊朗最高领袖外事顾问韦拉亚提5日警告美国，若“再犯错误”，伊朗主导的抵抗阵线将以封锁曼德海峡作为反制措施。
韦拉亚提当天在社交媒体上发文说：“今天，抵抗阵线的统一指挥部视曼德海峡如同霍尔木兹海峡一般。如果白宫再犯愚蠢错误，它很快就会意识到，只需一个举动，全球能源和贸易流通就会中断。”
曼德海峡连接红海和亚丁湾，是连通大西洋、地中海和印度洋的咽喉要道。这一海峡处于也门胡塞武装控制范围内。外界分析认为，韦拉亚提的帖文是对美国总统特朗普当天对伊朗所发出威胁的回应。
特朗普5日发帖文，再次要求伊朗打开霍尔木兹海峡，并威胁说“4月7日将是伊朗的发电厂日和大桥日”，暗示要猛烈轰炸伊朗的发电厂和大桥。
