蔚来汽车CEO李斌表示，3月份是中国智能电动汽车市场的里程碑，电动汽车首次占到新车销量的10%以上；购买电动汽车的个人用户越来越多，这是一个很好的开始。李斌表示对今年的市场非常乐观，包括下半年。
此外，李斌还提到，老牌汽车品牌也在推出有竞争力的产品，但总的来说，他们是智能电动汽车领域的后来者，还有很多工作要做。小米、华为和百度等科技公司也在进入市场。需要全面看待这个市场，欢迎竞争，因为这可以促进创新。许多新公司正在进入市场，但这是一个非常长期的市场。
在2021上海车展现场会上，蔚来汽车李斌还向媒体表示，ET7的生产制造及测试工作正紧锣密鼓的展开。截至目前，蔚来已在全国累计部署203座换电站，144座超充站，近1100根超充桩，超过1800根目的地充电桩，并且接入了超过38万根第三方快充桩。
